Corona patients in the country are facing oxygen shortage. In addition to oxygen, there is a shortage of plants that can produce it and cryogenic tankers for rigging. Under the circumstances, the Ministry of Defense plans to bring 23 plants from Germany by air.
The plant will be operated in Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals across the country. Each plant will have the capacity to produce 2400 liters of oxygen per hour. On the other hand, oxygen smuggling in the country is also slowing down. It takes hours and days for oxygen to arrive by road-rail. Therefore, the transport of the entire tanker has been started by the transport planes of the Air Force.
The Air Force has flown C-17 and IL-76 transport aircraft for this purpose. The Defense Ministry has held talks with the German government and plans are afoot for the plant to arrive in India within a week. The plant is said to be portable and easy to transport.
However, this one week is like a year for India, as more than three lakh cases are being registered in the country every day and more than 2000 people are dying, according to government figures. However, people do not have much faith in government figures, as in Uttar Pradesh the official book shows three deaths from corona while more than 400 people were cremated at the crematorium.
It remains to be seen how long the country's Modi government will provide other facilities, including oxygen, to the people. Because the statement of the government and the fact of land are very different. The relief is that in India itself, Air Force planes flew with tankers from various places as required. After landing at the airport, the tankers are being transported to the concerned hospital or Kovid Center. The number of such celestial manipulations may increase in the coming days
