Downloading driving license in mobile is quite easy. Even in mobile, if you keep a soft copy of driving license in DigiLocker or mParivahan app, then your challan will not be deducted. By keeping a soft copy of your driving license in your mobile, you will not be afraid of losing it. In the year 2018, the government had issued an advisory that the driving license can also be shown if needed from DigiLocker or mParivahan app.

Here we are telling you the way by which you can store the soft copy of the driving license in your phone and show it when needed. For this you have to follow some steps.

Before proceeding, let us tell you that your account must be on DigiLocker. You can signup for DigiLocker with your phone number and Aadhaar card. For this, go to DigiLocker's app or site and sign in with username and six-digit PIN. After this you will get a one time password on your registered phone.

Here in the search bar you have to see the driving license. You have to select the state from where you got your driving license. Here you have to click on the Get Document button after entering the license number.

You can see the driving license by going to the Issued Documents list in DigiLocker. Its soft copy can also be downloaded by clicking on the PDF button. If you want, you can download and save DigiLocker in the phone and keep it. Apart from this, you can also save the driving license by downloading the mParivahan app.
